Instagram is a social media platform that allows users to share photos, videos, and stories with their followers. It was launched in 2010 by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger and was acquired by Facebook in 2012. Instagram is primarily a mobile application, however, it can also be accessed through web browsers. Users can follow other users, like and comment on their posts, and use hashtags to discover new content. Instagram also includes features such as direct messaging, IGTV, Live streaming and Reels for short videos creation. It is widely used for personal and business purposes, to share pictures and videos, build brand awareness, and connect with other users around the world.
